The ASEAN Future Sustainable Leaders (AFSL) 2025 program was successfully held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, as a platform for young innovators and leaders across ASEAN to present their creative ideas for a sustainable future.

The event featured two competition levels — Senior and Junior level— showcasing innovative and solution-oriented projects that address pressing environmental and social issues.

Senior Level Winners

• 1st Place / Juara Pertama: Alya Nurrusyifa – Zero Waste (Universitas Terbuka)
  Her project promotes sustainable waste management and circular economy practices.
  
  
• 2nd Place / Juara Kedua: Kadek Shri Yogi Savitri – ASEAN Youth Carbon Bank (Universitas Terbuka)
  Her initiative focuses on youth involvement in reducing carbon footprints and fostering climate action across ASEAN.

Junior Level Winners

1st Place / Juara Pertama: Abdullah Fauzi (SMAN 4 Jakarta)
He presented an innovative sustainability concept that integrates youth creativity and environmental awareness.

2nd Place / Juara Kedua: Fantastic 4 (SMAN 3 Klaten)
The team impressed the judges with their collaborative project promoting eco-friendly youth initiatives.

About the Event

The ASEAN Future Sustainable Leaders 2025 serves as more than just a competition — it is a movement that encourages collaboration, innovation, and leadership among the youth to shape a greener and more sustainable ASEAN community.

Through this initiative, participants not only showcased their projects but also shared insights, exchanged ideas, and built networks for future regional sustainability efforts.
